Chakra

The chakras are our bodies main regions where our spiritual energy flows. Chakra comes from the ancient Sanskrit word for wheel.

We have seven main chakras (click on the thumbnails below), also known as spinning wheels or vortices of energy. When these are balanced, we are healthy and vibrant. When they become blocked it manifests as dis-ease, illness and a feeling of being out of balance. Each of the main chakras corresponds to the seven main nerve ganglia that emanate from our spinal column.
